How to use an AI clause in your emails and contracts to future proof your content
Digital cloning with Artificial Intelligence (AI) is taking the creative industries by a storm. If you are a Talent who works in recorded media you may feel anxious about digital imitations generated by AI without your consent and the risks this brings to your creative practice or business. Fortunately, there is a simple solution you can use to future proof your content today: use AI clauses (also known as AI “riders”) in your deals with clients.
In this course, you will learn what AI clauses are and how they can work to protect your content from being recycled or repurposed by others without your permission. I will teach you a simple step-by-step process on how to use AI clauses in everyday work. By the end of this course, you will know where to add your AI clause and how to negotiate an AI clause with your clients (And yes, you can do that even when you think you hardly have any leverage or if you don’t even use an actual contract - I will teach you how!).
Finding out from a friend or your producer that you’ve been cloned because you’ve signed a contract which did not protect you properly is one of most stressful experiences you can go through as a Talent.
By learning how to use AI clauses to your advantage, you will regain control over your content and feel confident that you can handle whatever AI throws your way.

This digital course runs 5 x live sessions online. The sessions will run between 45 min. to an hour. Each session will be recorded and available on replay.

You will have the opportunity to ask me any questions during our live sessions. Even better, bring your contracts or previous deals made with you so we can talk about really practical issues that matter to you, in your own practice. Of course, you will need to make sure you do not disclose any confidential information – but no need to worry, I will teach you how you can do that.
